Job Description

Our client, a leading distribution center specializing in efficient logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Forklift Operator (Cherry Picker/Reach Forklift) to join their dedicated team. As a Forklift Operator (Cherry Picker/Reach Forklift), you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting the distribution process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator (Cherry Picker/Reach Forklift)

Location: Covington, GA

Pay Range: $19/hour

Shift: Monday-Thursday 8pm-6:30am

What's the Job?

• Safely operate Cherry Picker and Reach Truck equipment to load and unload products within the distribution center.
• Accurately process customer orders using RF technology, including scanning bar codes, picking, labeling, and packing.
• Build pallets by scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders, ensuring proper stacking and stability.
• Assist with inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper loading and unloading procedures to prevent damages.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following SOP and safety guidelines.

What's Needed?

• Experience operating Cherry Picker and Reach Truck equipment.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification in accordance with company guidelines.
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents accurately.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, stooping, and reaching.
